Welcome Executive Chef, Ricardo Bravo!

Prior to The Stella, Chef Rick served in an executive capacity at Magnolia Hotels, a collection of 4-star boutique hotels situated in historic buildings in Dallas, Denver, Houston, Omaha and St. Louis. He was at Magnolia for almost a decade, starting out as Executive Chef and working his way up to Food and Beverage Director. He also assisted in the remodel and redesign of Lasalle Hotel in Bryan, TX as a consultant for Magnolia Hotels for the city of Bryan. He served as a board member of the Texas Chef Association and the American Culinary Federation. Chef Rick started his career with Marriott Hotels, where he honed his skills with some great chefs. Prior to becoming an executive chef, he had the opportunity to work with numerous chefs including 2 master chefs with Marriott & Omni Hotels. He enjoys competitions and has numerous awards.

Chef Rick married his high school sweetheart and has been married for 22 years. He and his wife have 2 beautiful children, boy/girl twins who are 13 going on 30. In his spare time, he spends as much time as possible with his family, 2 dogs, Spot & Caramel, and the family cat, Chubby.
